Midori T. Kawakami: I'm just a girl trying to break the boys' club in the martial arts scene, but not necessarily for the sole reason of breaking the boys' club. More and more women are showing interest in martial arts all the time, and I would like to be an example of, no matter how poor/fat/awkward you may be in the beginning, you CAN do it. I hope that my blog and journey will prove at the very least amusing, at the most inspirational, and always educational for all who venture to read it.
